SW Spring Break Malinois Gathering

Postby sch3dana » Sat Jan 20, 2007 2:22 am

When: March 24-?
Where: Mesa, AZ (that's east Phoenix)
What: The Cool Kids' Malinois Gathering (yes, Danny, you can come, too)

So, Brian Haller is coming here and we want as many cool mal people as possible to train with. We'll even take cool GSD or off-breed types. The training will be "guerrilla style" (well, maybe if I don't talk too much shit about the GSDs I can secure a field) and first come, first gets a bed. I have 3 queen-king, so that comfortably houses 6-7 depending on how cozy we want to get. I also have a couch good for 2. Late comers get the tile floor

Brian is staying in a hotel; he's either richer or cooler than the rest of us 8)

So, come one, we've got to join together to get ready for the ultimate IPO1 challenge at the Nationals this year. I'm going to need all the help I can get. Plus, if you're good, Brian may sell you his "rejects"- talk about a jump-start

I would love to come... unfortunately you guys picked one of the weekends between the SW Regional and the AWDF (or maybe the same weekend as the AWDF? Better look that up).

Oh well, guess I'll be too busy competing to hang out with the "cool kids"! :D

Sorry about that. I knew the AWDF would conflict for a few people, but that was the week Brian was free to drive down.

We'll all be rooting you on in between training sessions. :!:

Ok, I'll put Alex and Dana down for beds. Now the rest of you have to negotiate which one you share the bed with. I'm crossing my fingers for Danny :D

I can get you a field and I don't really mind if you talk shit about my GSD's. If I'm invited, that is!

Of course you're invited! Your GSDs are so good I tend to remember them as malinois

I wouldn't go that far.
Sounds fun though. I can probably get the highschool.

Great. I was thinking of asking Marco's Dad to use his field, but the high school will probably be better over the weekend. I think I'll still talk to him about his field during the week, just in case more people come for the week, not just the weekend.

I'm totally down for training on the 24th -signs up for a bed-. Does this include Breakfast?

Oh, and what kind of pie do you like? I just may bring a treat!

OK, you're down for a bed. That pie sounds like an effective bribe...

And, of course there's breakfast, I'm down for organizing the whole thing around meals
