GO USA - FMBB Time!

Postby AronSchH3 » Mon May 04, 2009 2:37 pm

Just noticed that FMBBS are this weekend. Looks like a good team this year!

Also good luck to Shari Lipski who's competing in Agility at the FMBBs and Lisa Geller who's competing in Mondioring.

Most everyone left this weekend to head over to the Czech Republic. We are very fortunate to have such a great group representing us. Another note is that Greg Doud is the IPO team captain. f you haven't kept up with all of this, our ability to send an IPO team along with agility and mondio competitors has been a real work of cooperation. The agility coordination has been handled by Shari Lipski, and she's done a great job trying to get more connections with agility folks in the AMBC. The mondio collaboration is new this year and is the result of interactions with USMRA. Also recall that Tim Bartlett of the USMRA is one of the mondio decoys this year.

I want to personally thank Shari Lipski and Dana Huckestein for their help. Shari has taken care of all of the details related to the team. The amount of time she's put into making sure this all comes together is unbelievable. Dana, as always, is the best when it comes to making travel connections for people traveling with dogs. And I also want to thank those of you who made donations to help support the team.

Now we wait to hear how everyone did!

Here's the scoop on the draw.

Phil= A-Sat 9:15, B-Sun 9:00, C-Sun 10:20
Wendy= A-Sat 1:30, B-Fri 9:00, C-Fri 10:12
Dre= A-Fri 11:00, B-Sat 1:34, C-Sat 2:28
Marina= A-Fri 3:30, B-Sun 7:48, C-Sun 8:44
Kristina= A-Fri 5:15, B-Sun 7:24, C-Sun 8:36
Mark Saccoccio did not make the trip, transportation issues.

Sorry Dre, hope it doesn't get too hot!! Forecast is for 71, 70, 70 with a 60% chance of light showers on Sunday.
Guess the 'Ol US of A got to draw first. Shari must have scared them at the meeting.

Did not go. Was at the WDA Nationals last weekend with his female GSD. Ran into some issues with transportation along the way and had to pull out. Totally out, did not go.

Dre is still in the running with a 96 on his track. Super job for he and Kaden, pulling an 11:00 track in the heat. It's 75 degrees there right now at 6:30 in the evening so it had to be in the 80's. No scores have been posted on the web site yet, I think they're coming by boat.

No scores for Kristina and Marina yet but do have some good news, in talking to Phil Hoelcher, Shari tells me that the quality of helper work has been phenomenal. Phil says that he has never seen this caliber of work at any championship event before. I guess the timing and precision of the work by the CZ helpers has been something to see. That's good news, maybe there'll be no need for the videos and bad press this year,,,,,let's hope.
