US Mondioring Championships

Postby Lisa Geller » Mon Mar 03, 2008 10:38 pm

Hi,

We are hosting the United States Mondioring Championships in Harris Minnesota this year.

If you are not familiar with Mondioring, it is the international answer to an "all world" ringsport sport. It is also a sport dominated by the malinois!

Ron, me, and the entire crew at MidwestRingsport would like to formally invite the Malinios community to come see what a little club with a lot of heart can do if they really, really want to try ringsports. :D

here's the website:
http://www.bannerdogs.com/USMRA/

hope you can make it

oh, we are also soliciting sponsors, advertisers, and vendors

Worth the travel indeed - just to see the clown get bit:) !
Also, if you have some raffle items to donate, general sponsorship, or trophy sponsorship, it will get you a free link on the fabulous championship page. There's still a few trophy sponsorships left and any support will gain you the Mondio communities' respect and appreciation.

Here's a sample trophy

Here's something I dreamed up while waiting for the weather to break before the US Mondio championships next weekend.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=I6sDxoRLvo0

In NO way sponsored, authorized, or condoned by ANYone truly connected to USMRA management...

Remember, it's better to ask forgiveness than permission in cases such as these...
Enjoy. And, looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend.

The trophies are beautiful! Anne Putegnat has made a wonderful one for the highest Guard of Object score...it is a hand cut wooden puzzle of the USMRA logo!.

See you in a few days (if we survive the 19 hour drive with 13 puppies).

ooo ahhh puppy breath!!!! :D

Well, Lisa just called and said that the trophies made it - what a relief! I would have liked to have spent a few more days on making the finishes more perfect, but we ran out of time, AND after going half a sheet of metal to test fonts and details, I was starting to get ready to move on to the next design. We will have some without the text (it needs work)

though this one will have to come in luggage with no paint...

DRIVE SAFE and see you soon!!

Sharon,
you and Mike have outdone yourselves--which is saying something since you put the bar so high already!

What awesome creations! It inspires me to go out, get a dog, train it, then compete in Mondioring!!!!!!!

See you shortly--

It dawned on me yesterday that LDS has just won the National Championships in both MR (Jackson) and IPO (Joker) in the same year. Litter brothers - sired by an ot Vitosha dog. Michael and Lisa - you guys are on a roll. Congratulations!

BTW, is there an LDS dog that could do the same in FR? Wouldn't that be something?
