Danish IPO All-Breed Ch

Postby Danny » Sun Sep 30, 2007 12:06 am

Just got word from Denmark. Ann's brother Arousal Ali is the new Danish National Champion! Of course, Ali didn't do it all by himself - Congratulations to his owner and trainer, Henrik Annesen - http://www.annesen.com/

Wouldn't it be nice to be in Belgium at one of the BR clubs watching training, talking dogs and drinking a nice, cold Leffe.

I could go for a Dommelsh. Stella tastes so much better there I rarely get it here.

Ali's not a tall dog but he's got a very square, strong body with a beautiful head piece. My Ann is built similarly and she is throwing this conformation to her puppies. Their sire, Rino des deux Pottois (the '98 Danish All-Breed IPO Ch), was very handsome in the same way. Maybe it's because I'm a Rottweiler guy at heart.

Donna reminded me of this photo of Ali and Ann's sire Rino. This is the way I wish all my Mals looked.

Can't give all the credit to Rino though, because Lidie was exceptional too! :)

Is this build more typical of whats coming out of the Danish Malinois kennels?

Naw. It's just coincidence. You have to look around for the size and shape that most fits your eye. Personally, I like the stout variety. Sounds like you do too.

Here's Bico and Ann (brother to Ali)

And they produced Temple of the Tree's Ares - shown here at 20 months with his owner, handler Joe Deguzman. For me - a very handsome, masculine male.

I was just going to say the same thing. Ali/Anne's facial structure is very noticeable in both TotT’s Blitz and Bodhi as well. I think Bodhi is gonna have a head very similar to Aries and Ali. Yeah Ali is a super handsome boy for sure
